Greenfrog systems provides environmentally conscious businesses and organisations with the opportunity to legally and ethically dispose of their surplus, redundant, broken or outdated IT & Telecoms equipment in the most environmentally friendly manner possible.

This is achieved by our exploring every possible recycling option as an alternative to committing unwanted equipment to landfill.

Such activities are carried out in line with Environment Agency legislation and best practice (The WEEE Directive) and in compliance with both hazardous waste and health and safety regulations.  In addition, all data handling and destruction processes ensure client conformance with The Data Protection Act.

You should ensure that any organisation that provides these kind of services is licensed to do so.  Our clearance company is an Environment Agency Licensed Carrier of Controlled Waste (WEEE) and Hazardous Substances (a copy of our Certificate is attached to this email). 

Our clearer operates a voluntary ‘Zero Export Policy’.  This means that waste items that we handle will only be transferred to UK based Environment Agency Authorised Treatment Centres and NEVER exported by us to third world countries where there is the potential for work force exploitation in terms of unethical and often illegal and dangerous processes.
